SSHRC IDG awarded 2020: People living with serious mental illness (PSMI) experience high levels of marginalization from the labour force. In Canada, 80 to 90% of PSMI are unemployed, or if working, have low job attachment and restricted career advancement. This project will identify ways of helping PSMI to sustain employment and to further their career advancement by establishing a peer support network to provide ongoing support.
