Solomon's Seal (polygonatum X hybridum) is a cross between Solomon's-seal (Polygonatum multiflorum) and angular Solomon's-seal (Polygonatum odoratum). These plants were growing at the Tromsø Arctic-Alpine Botanical Garden (latitude 69.6769° N) in early June.

For the first time in twelve years, the harbour at Helsinki had frozen over. There were small boats constantly breaking up the ice to keep the ferry channels open. There is a cruise ship docked on the far side of the harbour.
