In-kind Contributions - Examples

The purpose of this document is to provide ideas for researchers about some potential in-kind contributions that may be included in a research project proposal. This is not an exhaustive list. This is also not a formal policy document and every item, their eligibility and valuation should be confirmed with the Sponsor agency. In-Kind contributions are non monetary resources that partners, sponsoring organizations and/or the grantee’s institution provide to support the project. They are normally considered essential to the research or research-related activities and could be in the form of cash-equivalent goods or services, which would otherwise have to be purchased with project funds.
