• Scan of booklet and card (plus additional commentary and some translation) accompanying 2 microfilm sets “Kindai bijutsu kankei shinbun kiji shiryō shūsei” (literally modern art related newspaper article document collection). A historic collection contemporary newspaper clippings about Modern Art gathered from various Japanese newspapers between 1891 and 1941 and organized into scrapbooks and later microfilmed in two sets. Set 1 (71 reels) contains 300,000 article clippings from ~25 major newspapers (many no longer available ); from originals held by the library at the Tokyo University of the Arts. Set 2 (7 reels) is an addendum (hoi hen) of similar newspaper clipping scrapbooks (sporadic coverage 1903-1920); originals held by the Tokyo Cultural Property Research Institute. Accompanies:
