Over the July 10 - 12 weekend Yellowknife hosted the annual Midnight Sun Fly-in. There were many float planes at the old Wardair Dock, as well as overhead.

Solomon's Seal (polygonatum X hybridum) is a cross between Solomon's-seal (Polygonatum multiflorum) and angular Solomon's-seal (Polygonatum odoratum). These plants were growing at the Tromsø Arctic-Alpine Botanical Garden (latitude 69.6769° N) in early June.
