When salmon is dried, it twists and curls. When the salmon is bundled it needs to be compressed to be more easily carried on a sled. This simple fulcrum press compacts the salmon so that it can bundled tightly.

Over the July 10 - 12 weekend Yellowknife hosted the annual Midnight Sun Fly-in. There were many float planes at the old Wardair Dock, as well as overhead.

A creek runs through the Hudson Bay Slough in Fort George Park in Prince George, B.C., and discharges into the Fraser River. On this day the river was so high that it had flooded the creek mouth, backing water up through Fort George Park. Fraser River is in the background.
