This study aimed to determine the reliability of scoring the story grammar portion of the Edmonton Narrative Norms Instrument (ENNI; Schneider, Dubé, & Howard, 2005) directly from audio recordings. The authors hypothesized that if the stories could be scored for story grammar elements from audio recordings rather than from written transcripts, the time needed for scoring of tests could be greatly reduced.
