IDRC awarded 2010: The general aim of the project is to gain a more nuanced understanding of how multiple interacting shocks and risks, including cimate viability and HIV AIDS influence capital stocks and local livelihoods choices, and consequently, vulnerability and food security, and use this knowledge to inform and support community and municipal adaptation pratices, development efforts and regional/national policies. Through a series of multi-disciplinary studies, the project team anticipate that this project wil have a number of outcomes and outputs at various scales.
