Power pole anchoring on shield rock

In hard rock environments, power poles can be erected in two ways: drilling or augering a large enough hole in the rock that the pole can be placed into it or placing the pole on top of the rock and anchoring it. In this case, rods have been drilled into the rock and the power pole has been bolted to the rods.
