These pears from Holland were for sale in Rovaniemi, Finland in June, 2018. They were priced at 2.59 Euros/ kilo or approximately $3.94 CAD/kilo. The pears are of a variety known as Conference.

On the return ferry trip from Drottningholm, four men on personal watercraft played around the stern as we entered the harbour. They entertained us with sharp turns that sent up huge sprays of water.

These rock carvings or petroglyphs are at Skavberg, about 30 km west of Tromsø, Norway. Some may be as old as 7,000 B.C. The carvings on the left half of the rock wall show horned animals, including reindeer, and fish. The colour has been recently added to make the carvings visible.
