There were many clusters of Clusius' gentian blooming in early June at the Tromsø Arctic-Alpine Botanical Garden (latitude 69.6769° N). They grow close to the ground and have vibrant purple-blue trumpet shaped flowers.
Making dandelion garlands, often worn as crown, is common child's play. In this case the
garland is made by laying stems together and then wrapping with more dandelion stems.
This garland was abandoned on a railing in Kongeparken (King's Park) in Tromsø, Norway.
