Masters thesis. This study of the factors that influence the timing of reproduction in willow ptarmigan (Lagopus lagopus), focusses on the influence of snow melt, maternal nutrition and arthropod abundance on the timing of egg laying and hatching, and examines a test site at the Chilkat Pass, northwestern British Columbia.
