Is there a magic formula for writing a CIHR Project grant proposal? How do you “tell a good story” as everyone advises? We can’t offer a magic formula, but we can help you apply strategies that have worked for successful applicants: how to organize your proposal to cover each evaluation criterion, key features of a good scientific story, strategies in writing for reviewers who may not be experts in your area, how to use figures effectively and efficiently, etc. In this workshop, led by Dr. Cathy McPhalen, participants got hands-on with their application to apply strategies and tips.
