Summer temperature variations in a small mountain valley in west-central Alberta

Paired observations of maximum and minimum temperatures from ground-based screens and standard-level screens during the period June 1 to September 30, 1979 from 14 stations in the Drystone Creek Valley, northeast of Jasper, Alberta, were used to investigate the nature and magnitude of the influences of elevation, slope, aspect, and vegetation on temperature in mountainous terrain.
