We describe a small dromaeosaurid dinosaur. Bambiraptor feinbergi n. gen. and n. sp., based upon a nearly complete fossil skeleton from the Two Medicine Formation (Upper Cretaceous) of Montana. Widely known as Bambi, this skeleton is a well-preserved subadult that is about 75 percent adult size. Larger bones from the same locality suggest little anatomical change during the late ontogeny. While this species fits the dromaeosaurid gestalt, it also shares a number of features with early birds.
