Patterns of variation in the brown moss Meesia triquetra over an arctic-boreal gradient

  • Author / Creator
    Montagnes, R. Joan S.
  • The brown moss Meesia triquetra demonstrates an active potential to evolve based on the variation it exhibits in morphology, growth rate, and genetics. Variation was investigated over an arctic-boreal gradient, and was substantial enough to allow discrimination among specimens from Boreal Forest, Low Arctic, and High Arctic ecoclimatic regions.
