This sculpture was created in 1981 by Bengt Lindström on behalf of Volvo. The sculpture was placed outside the State Historical Museum in Stockholm in 1983 in conjunction with Lindström's exhibition "Myths". It was renovated in 1992 and relocated to Östersund, where it was placed in connection with the inauguration of the opening of a new car sales facility. The sculpture is a large orange hand holding a hammer. The head of the hammer is a body of a Volvo sedan, which has been completely covered, including the glass, in patches and bands of blue, yellow, red and white. The wheels have been painted blue.
