Hubbles Lake is a beautiful, clear, pothole lake just west of Stony Plain, in Parkland County, Alberta, in the Sturgeon River subwatershed. Hubbles Lake is regionally unique. Characterized by four holes, 25 to 30 meters deep, Hubbles Lake is one of the deepest lakes in Alberta. This report identifies the current physical, chemical, and biological conditions of the Hubbles Lake watershed and assesses the pressures acting upon it.
