This two-storey log house is visible from the Chena River. Some of the logs were not trimmed back to the front wall of the house. Flower baskets hang from two of these. Historically these poles were used as storage, sometimes frozen game was hung here in the winter. The house has a metal roof, which allows snow to slide off more easily.
