This hand cranked sewing machine is on display at the Perspektivet Straumen Farm on Kvaløya Island in northern Norway. It is a portable sewing maching which would have originally had a domed lid that latched into the two metal openings on either end of the stand. The machine is shown with a piece of tartan fabric under the pressure foot.
