The PowerPoint session \"Compliance with Funding Agency Mandates for Open Access to Research Data\" is available for download. This session reviewed options, opportunities, and challenges for researchers who are required by funding agencies, such as the Canadian Institutes of Health Research, to provide access to research data. The presenters described the services that the U of A Libraries provides researchers, including help with identifying and selecting repository environments suitable for data access and preservation. Data deposit and management within the U of A’s institutional repository, ERA: Education and Research Archive, and the Research Data Centre was covered. The challenges that researchers may encounter around data requirements and restrictions were also discussed.
