Information Update on CIHR's Foundation Scheme December 10, 2013

CIHR is designing a new open suite of programs & associated peer review. The current suite of open programs (including the OOGP) is being replaced by the Foundation Scheme & Project Scheme. The transition begins with the Fall 2014 Foundation Scheme competition (with restricted eligibility), and will be complete in 2016, where there will be two Project (Spring & Fall) & one Foundation (Fall) competition per year. This discussion focused on what is currently known about changes to CIHR's open programs with a focus on the Fall 2014 Foundation Scheme competition.
