View east from Pilots' Monument, Yellowknife, NT, to Jollife Island. In summer the channel in front of the Island is the landing area for float planes. The Monument has a signal light on top that flashes when a float plane is about to land, indicating that boat traffic should move aside. Houseboats are visible in the channel and beyond the Island.
