This poster was presented at the University of the Arctic Scientific Congress held in St. Petersburg, Russia, September 16 - 19, 2016. The poster describes the developments in the Digital Library North project, a collaboration between the University of Alberta School of Library and Information Studies and the Inuvialuit Cultural Resource Centre (ICRC), to build a digital library for the ICRC. This poster focuses on frameworks for incorporating community input, methods used to incorporate local and traditional knowledge, development of culturally appropriate metadata and future plans.
