Animals are an essential part of Inuit world view and day-to-day life. The knowledge of the relationship between people and animals is passed down through oral tradition from older people to children. These stories are now being captured as children's fiction. In these four works published by the Inuvialuit Cultural Resource Centre, bowhead whales, reindeer, seals and fish are highlighted.
