MPI/C Advanced Pattern-based Parallel Programming System

• Technical report TR05-22. Preliminary investigation has been made into the development of a generative parallel design-pattern system that uses MPI/C as the target language. Several patterns have been investigated for a new system, MPI/C Advanced Pattern-based Parallel Programming System (MAP3S), based upon earlier work with Correct Object-Oriented Pattern-Based Parallel Programming System (CO2P3S). Prototypes have been developed for framework code for each of these patterns. Technical information about those prototypes, as well as directions for future work towards the completion of a system such as MAP3S, are described here. | TRID-ID TR05-22
