The LAB60 simulation is a coupled ocean sea-ice model (NEMO) that uses grid refinement to achieve high resolution (1/60 of a degree) within the Labrador Sea. This simulation starts in 2002 and will cover a period of over 10 years. This video shows the Labrador Sea Water passive tracer that is produced each convective winter period from 2004 through the end of 2013. The color bar indicates the depth, in meters, that the passive tracer occupies. This is video 6 in a set of 6 that shows the results of our LAB60 simulation. A few frames are missing due to file problems.
