These Pulmonaria saccharata plants were blooming in early June at the Tromsø Arctic-Alpine Botanical Garden (69° 40' 36.48" N). These plants thrive in cold climates and heavy shade. They are native to Europe.

The red-breasted goose breeds in Arctic Siberia. This specimen is on display in the Polar collection at the Swedish Royal Museum of Natural History (Naturhistoriska riksmuseet) in Stockholm.
