This large loom is displayed on the upper level of the Straumen farmhouse Straumsbukta on Kvaløya Island in Norway. While this would have been used to weave sheep's wool into fabric, the loom is displayed with strips of rag being woven into a rug.

The chestnuts in this park were dropping their chestnuts. On impact, many of the green outer husks would crack open to reveal the hard brown chestnut inside. The ladies in the park were gathering up chestnuts for children.
