This presentation provides an overview of the work of the University of Alberta Libraries to examine and revise its descriptive metadata practices to more accurately, appropriately, and respectfully represent Indigenous peoples and contexts. The presentation was given at the Netspeed Library Technologies Conference in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, 3 October 2017.
