Specifically, the positive results of design principles such as proximity and spacing, alignment, repetition and contrast are explained and specific tips for implementation are provided. Aspects of efficient document set-up in word processing programs are also outlined: use of styles and spacing, type characteristics, and font comparisons in terms of usefulness and drawbacks.
